Posted on Feb 15, 2013
GS3 / Garrett Sayers Trio has been in residency at the Highland Tap & Burger in the Lohi neighborhood in Denver for a year and a half now, performing on Wednesday nights. The residency has in fact kick started this band to get on its feet and also excite fans with new music and a Funky, urban flavor from the minds of Garrett Sayers, Patrick Lee & Jonny Jyemo!
Needless to say, the band would not be here today without the fans who came out week after week. So in celebration and HUGE gratitude, GS3 has mastered tracks from live recordings from the residency and pressed their very first CD titled, “The Tap Sessions”. The CD will be handed out for free to all in attendance at this final show at the Tap on February 27th.

New signings and a huge start to 2013!
Posted on Jan 31, 2013
SEG is full steam ahead in 2013! Phil Einsohn, agent at SEG says, “I have never been this busy in the first month of the year. Our artists are in demand and 2013 looks stellar.” Festivals are calling, tours are being booked, five SEG artists are currently recording new albums and more artists are being signed!
With all the excitement, we are pleased to announce the following additions to the SEG: Sweetwine Entertainment Group roster:
Tommy Malone has had a musical love affair with fans for over 30 years. As the ‘heart and center’ front man of the legendary Americana act The Subdudes, he has carved his way as a gifted singer, player and songwriter with a distinctive musical voice. Tommy’s self-assured exterior masks a writer who mines heartache and elation, the surreal and the everyday, and who crafts the experiences into instantly memorable tunes. He is an artist who exudes a laid-back, down-to-earth, instantly familiar style that epitomizes Americana Rock Music. In Tommy’s solo band, as lead guitarist and singer, he punctuates soulful, heart-felt vocals with playing that is at turns joyful, incendiary and melancholic.
Described as “High-Octane Rocky Mountain Dance-Grass”, Whitewater Ramble (WWR) uses a simple recipe to craft its’ sound: start with bluegrass instrumentation, add drums, and finish with a boundary-less approach to grassing-up everything from disco house grooves to roots to Americana. The Colorado-bred quintet combines the elements of mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals to explore the musical boundaries of multiple genres and to fuel their own mixture of original music and innovative cover song interpretations.
Based out of the south bay of San Diego, neighboring the highest crossed border in the world, STRANGER is turning heads through multicultural and musical diversity with a soulful blend of reggae roots, rock and jazz combined with conscious lyrics and unparalleled musicianship. The name says it all: STRANGER does not fit into a mold. Even from the inception of the group, its diverse mixture of influences set the band apart from the other acts in the reggae genre and led to the band’s mysterious, yet creatively appropriate name.
Worth describes his solo music as “bohemian blues hop” or “folk gospel.” he claims to have developed most of his vocal style and performance ability on the street. To the listener his voice evokes an intense emotional response, even a full body experience. It is simultaneously timeless and new, recalling contemporary influences like Jeff Buckley, Martin Sexton, and Amos Lee and classics such as Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder. The songwriting is eclectic and infuses lyrical depth with memorable melodies.
Catch Trout Steak Revival live and you can’t help but notice the band’s gift to thrive in the moment. The sounds of fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass, dobro, and accordion blend in TSR’s bluegrass-inspired mountain music. While each member of the band composes original tunes, harmonic contributions are added by the entire band, following the bluegrass tradition and creating a unique sound.

Giving back to our community in need
Posted on Jul 31, 2012
The summer of 2012 has proven to be quit tragic throughout our home state of Colorado. Countless wildfires have taken thousands upon thousands of acres of forest, homes destroyed, neighborhoods leveled and of course the recent senseless act of violence in Aurora where so many were killed and injured at the movie theater incident. As Sweetwine Entertainment Group calls Colorado home as well as a handful of our clients, we are assembling to do what we can to raise money and give back to our greater community and the organizations helping our neighbors in need.
Now more than ever it is crucial to do what we can to help as a company, as artists, as neighbors, friends and citizens. Even if it is as simple as going to one of the shows where the proceeds of a purchased ticket goes to the benefit or if you are able to make donations or volunteer time, it is clear that any amount of effort is so needed at this time. Please – Do what YOU can to help. There are several organizations collecting food, clothing, furniture etc.
SEG and some of our local artists are partnering on two CO shows of which both will directly benefit and donate money towards Wildfire Relief efforts. We would so appreciate your support by attending, spreading the word and simply being a part of these efforts. Thank you in advance.
August 10 - Wildfire Relief Benefit @ The Summit Music Hall – Denver
